Summer Ph.D. Internship Program

| The Research Group of the Federal Reserve Bank of New York is currently seeking qualified candidates for three summer internship positions. Ph.D. students in all fields of economics and finance who are completing their dissertation work are welcome to apply. The Program, begun in the summer of 2006, is designed to provide students with the opportunity to participate in the intellectual life of the Research Group. Throughout the internship, the student's time will be dedicated to furthering their dissertation research, interacting with research economists, and obtaining feedback on their work. Students will be expected to present research, in an informal setting, at the beginning and end of the internship. The internships will be hosted for a period of eight to ten weeks from June through mid-August. Compensation will be based on an annualized salary of $80,600; payments will be made semi-monthly and deductions will be made for days not worked during each semi-monthly pay period. Note that internship participants are not eligible for the Bank’s employee benefits program. The application deadline is April 1, 2011; applications can be sent to research_phdintern@ny.frb.org.
