James Orr is an Assistant Vice President specializing in regional economics at the Federal Reserve Bank of New York. His responsibilities include analyzing and forecasting economic trends in the New York-New Jersey region. He recently co-authored two studies on the impact of the World Trade Center attack on the New York City economy and an article on indexes of coincident economic indicators for the region. His experience includes an assignment to the New York City Office of the Deputy Mayor where he authored a report on foreign investment in the city.
