Todd Keister is a Research Officer in the Money and Payments Studies Function of the Research and Statistics Group. He holds a Ph.D. from Cornell University and a B.S. from Duke University. Prior to joining the bank, Mr. Keister was a professor at the Instituto Tecnológico Autónomo de México (ITAM) in Mexico City. His recent research has focused on the causes and consequences of banking crisis and on the conduct of government policy in environments with multiple equilibria.
