Morten L. Bech joined the Bank after receiving his Ph.D. in the summer of 2002 and is currently a Senior Economist in the Money and Payment Studies Function. Morten has previously worked for the Danish central bank. He has written on different issues relating to large value payment systems, including resolution of gridlocks and systemic risk. Recent research includes analysis of intraday liquidity management and diffusion of technology within central banking.
