Leonardo Bartolini is a Senior Vice President in the International Research Department. His current research relates to issues of monetary policy execution, interbank markets, and domestic and international lending of last resort. He has also written on a variety of international macroeconomic topics, including exchange rate regimes, foreign direct investment, and capital controls. He is an associate editor of Research in Economics, a member of the advisory board of International Finance, and an adjunct associate professor at Columbia University. Prior to joining the Federal Reserve, he was an economist in the Research Department of the International Monetary Fund.
