CONFERENCE ANNOUNCEMENT AND CALL FOR PAPERS
The Fourth New York Fed/NYU Stern Conference on Financial Intermediation

November 14, 2008

A conference jointly sponsored by the Federal Reserve Bank of New York and the Salomon Center at New York University's Leonard N. Stern School of Business.

Overview
The goal of this one-day conference is to enhance the interaction among researchers interested in financial intermediation. The conference will consist of five to seven papers; submissions in all areas of financial intermediation will be considered (except papers already accepted for publication).

Submission Deadline
The submission deadline is July 31, 2008. Interested authors should submit a PDF version of their paper with a separate title page and abstract to: nyfed_nyustern.conference@ny.frb.org, specifying "NY Fed/NYU Conference" in the subject line. Authors of accepted papers will be notified in early September. Participants are responsible for their travel and lodging expenses.

Audience
The conference is open to academics and other researchers in the fields of economics and finance. It is closed to the media.
