Jane Humphreys is a senior community affairs analyst. She focuses on emerging issues affecting low- to moderate-income people and communities in the Second Federal Reserve District. Her recent work addresses subprime mortgage conditions, the changing housing needs of an aging population and microenterprise development.

Prior to joining the Bank in 2004, Ms. Humphreys was a research assistant at State University of New York at Buffalo for both the Center for Urban Studies and the Regional Institute. Ms. Humphreys earned a master’s in urban planning from the State University of New York at Buffalo and a bachelor's from McGill University.
