The Bowl
The Federal Reserve Bank of New York invites upper elementary
and middle school social studies classes to participate in
the Econ Bowl.
How It Works
Social studies classes participate in an academic competition
in which they investigate a local, national or global problem
related to economics. Students research the problem and propose
possible solutions using a variety of sources. A 15-minute
presentation is followed by a 10-minute question and answer
session conducted by New York Fed officials. Prizes include
trophies and plaques.
